"I became a foundation governor last year and I’m really enjoying being part of Holy Family school, every one makes you feel so involved and welcome."

Amy Corcoran

"Hello! I'm Amy. I became a parent governor in Autumn 2023 when my son started in Reception, I also joined the PTA. I have been made to feel really welcome and I am enjoying learning lots and being involved with school life. It's been so lovely to see how dedicated everyone at Holy Family is to making sure each child gets the best experience possible and reach their full potential. I also go to the Sunday morning Mass at Holy Family Church."

Gayle Hunter

"I started when my daughter was in Nursery and she will be 20 this year!  I have enjoyed serving the school and the community and will continue to do so.  The staff and governors make the school a welcoming place and we work together to ensure the best outcomes for the children and love the fact the parish links have been restored.   As I no longer have children in school you will be able to catch me at church at Holy Family most Saturday evenings, work permitting!"

Jennifer Ellis

Hi, I'm Jennifer and I became a parent governor this year. My daughter attends Holy Family and loves her time at school. I love how being a governor I can be involved in school life. I'm also on the PTA and help out as much as I can. You'll find me in the playground after school or at mass on a Sunday morning.

Tracy Caufield

"My family has lived in Leeds for almost 8 years now. I became a governor in 2018 when my son had been in year 4 as I wanted to understand how the school was run and how they managed their resources and curriculum. Although my son has since left Holy Family, I agreed to stay on as a Governor for a second term as I felt part of the family and didn't want my time as a governor to end! I still believe staff and fellow governors help make the school an enjoyable and safe place for the children to learn. I do try to come to as many school activities as I can, but as I work full time, if you don't see me around school you will normally see myself and my son at mass on Sunday morning as I am one of the stewards at Holy Family church and my son serves on the altar."

Bev Crosthwaite

"I have worked at Holy Family for over 25 years and love being part of this school community.  I am the school's Safeguarding and Attendance Officer and I am really passionate about supporting our families."

Pete McQuillen Strong

Laura Wharton

"I have worked here at Holy Family for 10 years and love being part of our school community as it truly feels like being part of family. I feel incredibly proud of all of our children and love to see how they grow from their time in Nursery to when they are ready to spread their wings in Year 6. I really enjoy being a governor as it allows me to support our school in many different ways."

Clare Walsh

"I have worked here at Holy Family for the last 10 years and really enjoy teaching children how to read and write.  I really enjoy being a governor as I get to support the school and help out."
